Executive Officer in the Knowledge Transfer Office (Appointment for 12 months)
[Ref. B/R/1218/09]

 

Duties

The appointee will provide administrative support to the office in relation to intellectual property (IP) commercialization.  Main duties include to:

  1. Provide administrative support in relation to patent application and licensing;
  2. Administer the IP database management system including data input and generation of periodic and ad hoc management reports;
  3. Prepare and manage agreements, reports and papers related to IP commercialization;
  4. Handle contract compliance and financial matters including payment processing; and
  5. Perform any other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree, with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience;
  2. Ability to attend to details and work independently;
  3. Proficiency in computer skills;
  4. Good organizational and communication skills; and
  5. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) are required.

 

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
