Project Officer in the Student Development Services (Appointment for 12 months) [Ref. B/R/1216/09]

 

Duties

The appointee will work under the Career and Leadership Centre (CLC).  Main duties include to:

  1. Coordinate and assist in the planning and implementation of CLC’s branding via social media (including LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook pages);
  2. Draft, edit and design materials (such as event posters, digital booklets and website/social media content);
  3. Work on system enhancement for CLC website, career consultation booking system and other job platforms;
  4. Assist in data analyses/consolidation and report compilation;
  5. Perform general office administrative duties (such as preparation of correspondence, accounting procedures, records maintenance, logistical arrangement and office operation); and
  6. Perform any other duties as assigned.

 

The appointee is also required to work flexible hours on a need basis.

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business/Communications/Public Relations/Marketing/ Language/Translation or related disciplines;
  2. At least 2 years’ post-qualification working experience, preferably in marketing, corporate communication or branding;
  3. Excellent communication, analytical, organisational and multi-tasking skills;
  4. Strong sense of responsibility and work commitment, with ability to work independently and as a team member;
  5. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and
  6. Proficiency in computer applications (such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint) are required.
  7. Knowledge of project management, digital technologies and social media would be an advantage.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
