Project Officer in the Student Development Services (Appointment for 12 months) [Ref. B/R/1215/09]

Duties

The appointee will work under the Career and Leadership Centre (CLC).  Main duties include to:

  1. Coordinate and assist in the planning and implementation of career and employability related initiatives/programmes;
  2. Assist in the organisation of recruitment talks, employers’ outreach and engagement events, career fairs, and other career-related events and initiatives;
  3. Assist in the administration and coordination of internship programmes;
  4. Handle enquiries from students, employers and internal staff members about students’ career development and employment matters;
  5. Assist in data analyses/consolidation and report compilation;
  6. Assist in the design and promotion of career services and events; and
  7. Perform any other duties as assigned.

 

The appointee is also required to work flexible hours on a need basis.

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years’ administrative/relevant experiences, preferably in administering or providing career services for tertiary education students/organising recruitment talks, career/marketing events and/or internship/graduate recruitment programmes;
  2. A team player with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills;
  3. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and
  4. Proficiency in computer applications (such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint) are required.
  5. Knowledge/skills in social media promotion would be an advantage.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
