Project Officer (2 posts) in the Office of the Vice-President (Student Affairs) (Appointment for 12 months) [Ref. B/R/1000/09]

 

Duties

Reporting to the Associate Vice-President (Student Affairs) of the Office, the appointees will be responsible for:

  1. Designing and producing compelling materials for digital and offline marketing campaigns (including motion graphic, videos, animations, banners and leaflets, etc.);
  2. Conducting video and photo shooting;
  3. Editing and creating graphics, animations, and special effects for videos;
  4. Managing and maintaining the social media accounts;
  5. Collaborating closely with team members to ensure proper coordination and teamwork for ideas generation and project output; and
  6. Performing any other duties assigned.


The appointee will be also required to work flexible hours on a need basis.


Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design/Visual Communication/Creative Media or related disciplines, with at least 2 years of solid experience in multimedia, animation, motion graphic and video editing;
  2. Proficiency in Final Cut Pro, and Adobe CS (including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects) in Mac environment;
  3. Knowledge of Facebook, YouTube streaming and other social media platforms;
  4. Being creative, self-motivated and a team player; and
  5. Experience in youth work would be an added advantage.


Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
