Executive Assistant in the Office of the Vice-President (Student Affairs) [Ref. B/667/09]

 

Duties

The appointee will provide assistance to Advocacy Team.  Main duties include to:  

  1. Provide administrative and logistics support for various advocacy initiatives (e.g. advertising and advertorial campaigns, souvenirs and videos production);
  2. Assist in creating content for website and various university owned platforms;
  3. Assist in maintaining and developing social media channels (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube);
  4. Support content review, design and production of online and offline promotional materials including but not limited to press releases, advertorials, e-newsletters, social media, publications, posters and videos;
  5. Assist in conducting market research through regular news monitoring, brand mention listening, advertising performance analyses;
  6. Provide administrative, clerical, and logistics support to working group meetings; and
  7. Perform any other duties as assigned.

 

The appointee will be required to work beyond normal office hours when necessary.

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree with relevant post-qualification working experience, preferably in tertiary education related to public relations, marketing, communications or related areas;
  2. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), with cutting-edge skills in writing, editing, and proofreading bilingual content;
  3. Good interpersonal, communication, organisational, problem-solving and coordination skills;
  4. Being self-motivated and attentive to details, with strong sense of responsibility; and
  5. Ability to work independently and as a team under pressure, with multi-tasking skills are required.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint), and good knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva or other multimedia editing tools are preferred.

 

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
