Executive Officer I/II in the College of Business [Ref. B/644/09]

 

Duties

Provide key support to the development and delivery of Executive Education programmes with the following main duties:

  1. Develop and implement strategies to retain and expand clients, and to take charge of active programme promotion, proposal development and tender submissions;
  2. Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support such as budgeting, collaboration with teaching faculty members, and programme logistics;
  3. Plan and organise various promotional activities such as forums and seminars;
  4. Build and maintain good relationships with clients, partners and other stakeholders in a professional manner; and
  5. Perform any other duties as assigned.


Working irregular hours and occasional travels to Mainland/overseas may be required.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years’ relevant post-qualification experience, especially in business development/sales/marketing.  Being self-driven, attentive to details with good organisational skills, and committed to work effectively under pressure and multi-tasking; excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) to interact with a range of internal and external stakeholders; and willingness to work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends as necessary) are required.  Demonstration of achievements in business development/sales/project management would be an advantage.

Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer II.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
