Executive Officer I in the Talent and Education Development Office [Ref. B/572/09]


Duties

The appointee is expected to provide assistance to the Director of the Office.  S/he will

  1. Provide high-level executive support to committees;
  2. Prepare proposals, reports and write-ups on various occasions when necessary;
  3. Manage student learning activities;
  4. Coordinate workshops and seminars; and
  5. Perform any other duties as assigned.


Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 5 years’ post-qualification working experience;
  2. Experience in working with academic units and administrative units at university level;
  3. Knowledge of committee work;
  4. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and
  5. Ability to multi-task and work independently under pressure.


Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
