Supervisory Executive Officer (Business Planning & Analysis) / Executive Officer I (Business Planning & Analysis) in the Office of the Vice-President (Administration) [Ref. B/571/09]


Duties

In support of strategic initiatives in the Office of the Vice-President (Administration), we are looking for an appointee with strong analytical, communication, problem solving, organisational, and presentation skills. The appointee is also required to have a business mindset and be adaptative to the changing needs of the Office.

Reporting to the Associate Director, the appointee will provide business planning and execution support to the Office of Vice-President (Administration), which oversees the Campus Development Office, Facilities Management Office, Office of the Chief Information Officer, Human Resources Office, Dongguan Campus Office, Outside Practice Administrative Unit, CityU Enterprises Limited and Data Protection of the University.

Requirements

The successful candidate should possess a Master’s/Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience in sizable organisations/institutions, excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and English, advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint and working experience in business planning and analysis.  S/he should also be independent, proactive, detailed-oriented, and a good team player.

Candidates with less relevant experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer I.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
