Education Development Officer in the Talent and Education Development Office [Ref. B/528/09]



The appointee is expected to provide assistance to the Director of the Office.  S/he will

  1. Provide expertise and leadership in learning enhancement (peer learning) scheme;
  2. Lead and conduct focus group interviews to gather students’ feedback on teaching and learning;
  3. Coach and cultivate student innovations and successes;
  4. Deliver outcomes based teaching and learning (OBTL) workshops to graduate students; and
  5. Perform any other duties as assigned.



  1. A higher degree or equivalent plus relevant professional qualification with at least 5 years’ solid working experience in higher education institutions;
  2. Track record in conducting and promoting teaching and learning activities;
  3. Good knowledge of outcomes based teaching and learning (OBTL);
  4. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and
  5. Being self-motivated with good interpersonal skills are required.
  6. A degree/academic qualification in education related discipline would be an advantage.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
