Executive Officer/Executive Assistant in the College of Science (Appointment for 12 months) [Ref. A/R/1224/09]


  1. Assist in organising outreach and promotional activities including secondary school visits, competitions and other ad-hoc events;
  2. Provide support in organising student activities;
  3. Coordinate internship schemes and identify new internship opportunities for students; and
  4. Perform any other duties as assigned.



A Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years’ post-qualification working experience, preferably in the higher education sector; good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; good organisational and communication skills; ability to plan and coordinate activities/events independently; and strong self-motivation with ability to work efficiently under multi-tasking situations and pressure are required.  Experience in organising large-scale activities or events is preferred.

Candidates with less relevant working experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Assistant.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
