Executive Assistant in the City University of Hong Kong Press [Ref. A/674/09]

 

Duties

The appointee is expected to:

  1. Provide administrative, clerical and logistics support to the daily operation of the Press;
  2. Handle enquiries and provide follow up services;
  3. Assist in preparing statistics and accounting reports and raising Purchase Requisition (PR) for the purchase of services and goods;
  4. Carry out house-keeping tasks in the general office;
  5. Prepare minutes, reports, and documentation for the Press;
  6. Facilitate effective communication between relevant key stakeholders at CityU and external parties for the Press; and
  7. Perform any other duties as assigned.


Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree/Associate Degree/Higher Diploma in any disciplines with at least 2 years’ relevant work experience;
  2. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  3. Good interpersonal and communication skills;
  4. Responsible, detail-minded, self-motivated, pleasant and a good team player; and
  5. Proficiency in computer application such as MS Office.


Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview and a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
