Alumni Development Officer I/II in the Alumni Relations Office [Ref. A/672/09]

Duties

Assist in strengthening alumni relations and fundraising endeavors for the University.  Major duties include to:

  1. Strengthen alumni relations;
  2. Help coordinate cultivation and stewardship activities for alumni donors and prospects;
  3. Organise alumni and fundraising activities and projects;
  4. Provide support for communication and meetings with stakeholders;
  5. Strengthen collaborations with internal and external units;
  6. Conduct researches and manage data in relation to alumni cultivation and fundraising; and
  7. Perform any other duties as assigned.


Irregular working hours and occasional travels outside Hong Kong on need basis are required.

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree with 7 years’ post-qualification working experience;
  2. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  3. Strong public relations and interpersonal skills;
  4. Proficiency in IT skills;
  5. Good organisational skills with high attention to details; and
  6. Ability to work under pressure and achieve goals efficiently are required.
  7. Experience in alumni relations cum fundraising, organising activities and leading projects, data and statistics management would be an advantage.


Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Alumni Development Officer II.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test and interview.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
