Managing Director, Hong Kong Appraisal Advisory Limited

Dr Jacqueline Huang is the founder and managing director of Hong Kong Appraisal Advisory Limited, which is the Hong Kong branch of the PRC leading valuation firm - China United Assets Appraisal Group. She is an Accredited Senior Appraiser of American Society of Appraisers, and a Chartered Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Dr Huang has over 15 years of experience in valuation and has been extensively involved in the assets and business valuation of a wide variety of industries. The clients Dr Huang served are mainly listed companies on worldwide stock exchanges, including but not limited to Hong Kong, Singapore, London and New York. At the same time, Dr Huang has considerable experience in the biomedical industry and other new economic industries, leading hundreds and thousands of valuation projects to service listed or non-listed clients in their M&A, financing and financial reporting purposes. This includes cases of sub-industry of medicine, medical equipment, STEM cells, tissue engineering, nanorobotics, as well as SaaS and E-commerce service, R&D, production and service, patent licensing, distribution networks under new economy.

Dr Huang obtained her master’s degree with first class honour in mathematics from Sun Yat-sen University and doctorate degree in real estate economics from the University of Hong Kong. After obtaining her doctorate degree, she worked shortly in Singapore before returning to Hong Kong to work in a large firm, taking up a post in centralized management.

She has obtained considerable experience in corporate management. Apart from professional services, Dr Huang is also passionate about social services. Currently, she is the Vice President and Chairman of the Business Valuation Committee of Hong Kong Independent Non-Executive Directors Association (HKINEDA), where she leads three sub-committees of the Business Valuation Committee to provide relevant services with diversified obligations such as seminar, consultation and response, questionnaire surveys, subject research, lectures and training. She services the HK Bio-Med Innotech Association (HKBMIA) as a founding member and a valuation expert. As the Vice President of the Hong Kong Association of Overseas-Returned Scholars (HKAORS), she takes responsibility for the association youth affairs. As the President of Hong Kong Young Expert Society (HKYES), she has led the society to help numerous overseas-returned students to develop their profession and settle down in Hong Kong. Moreover, Dr Huang occasionally accepts invitations from speeches, lectures, forums and annual conferences to share her experience and expertise, and to contribute commentaries in magazines/newspapers.
