海上清音 ─ 吳自英、姚公白古琴演奏會

兩位相識過半世紀的上海琴家，闊別近三十年，吳自英定居美國西雅圖，姚公白現客居香港，兩年前在好友林友仁先生(著名上海琴家)的追悼會上重遇。這次香港城巿大學中國文化中心有幸為他們舉辦這場首度連袂的古琴演奏會，一眾知音既可一睹前輩琴家的風範，又可一窺海上琴家各具風采的流派特徵，意義殊深。演奏會將彈奏多首梅庵派、虞山吳派及浙派姚門的經典曲目。

戲曲有高台教化的傳統，以戲文為諷喻，讓觀眾思考世情。大學教育既重視啟發學生思維，也講究傳統文藝對同學修養的熏陶。粵劇作為香港最主要戲曲劇種，以廣府話聲韻作為表演音樂的基礎，本於粵地，生於粵民。前人的智慧， 不但需要從藝者傳承，也需要觀眾的關心，才能具備生命力。戲曲進入校園，讓青年人不會與傳統文藝擦肩而過，令同學在藝術和思考層面鑑古知今。

The Brushstroke and Shigin ∙ Science and Art – Chinese Calligraphy Exhibition by Renowned Academicians and Scholars is to be organized by CityU cultural heritage initiatives in collaboration with the Library and the Chinese Civilisation Centre and other units. The activity targets to engage our faculty, students and you in the appreciation and participation in the activities of Chinese calligraphy and Cantonese opera. By exhibiting calligraphy works of renowned academicians and scholars, and offering workshops introducing the basics of Chinese calligraphy and literature (both physical and virtual), as well as showcasing the performance of Shigin by Japanese artists and CityU students, the activities aim to enrich students’ knowledge and experiences of Chinese literature and art.

「音飄天籟‧蒼勁綻放」巡迴示範演出
The Li School of Chinese Opera

京劇藝術是中華民族的優秀文化瑰寶，「李多奎」李派藝術古朴大方，蒼秀挺拔，韻味醇厚，創立了老旦新腔，他的演唱重於用氣之功，他常說「氣為音之本，無氣無聲」。李多奎對於演唱中的 換、偷、提、噴、吞、吐、收及放等各種用氣之法安排精細到家，他在演唱中無論是急促的快板，還是長拖腔的慢板，都能唱得氣足神通，保持聲音的圓潤 悅耳，還十分注意聲韻的變化和感情的表達結合。是次巡迴演出以京劇大師「李多奎」李派藝術為重點，通過京劇藝術「唱、唸、做、打、舞、翻」，把李派經典劇目帶進社區。是次演出劇目包括《火燒裴元慶》，《罷宴》及《思 凡》，演出輔有中文字幕及司儀講解。

Many naturally occurring, man-made substances present at low concentrations can harm human health and ecosystems. For better protection, risks need to be assessed. An important step in risk assessment is to identify and quantify toxic substances present in our environment, and determine the threshold concentrations below which exposure is not expected to cause adverse effects.

This talk will assess the environmental fate and risks of persistent toxic substances, e.g. perfluoroalkyl substances, on local wildlife such as the Indo-Pacific humpbacked dolphins and water birds. In addition, the latest research on marine toxins will be presented.
