ArtX Hong Kong:
Institute for Art Trading and Cultural Exchange
ArtX Hong Kong (ArtXHK) is a forward-looking interdisciplinary institute at City University of Hong Kong. It is dedicated to nurture the ecosystem for the next-generation of creative economy by catalyzing creative talents, cultural heritage, ArtTech, FinTech, and social communities. ArtXHK serves as a bridge between academic research and creative industries, empowering Hong Kong as a center for global cultural exchange and creative economy.
Mission
- Pioneer transdisciplinary research on the next-generation creative economy, including creative IP management, AI-enabled creative ecosystem, blockchain in art business, security in new payment technologies, ArtTech ethics, social impacts, and policy measures.
- Transfer research outputs to tangible solutions for challenges in the creative industry in the AI era.
- Forge partnerships with universities, art institutions, and industry innovators to drive knowledge transfer and social impacts.
- Develop the creative economy ecosystem by nurturing creative agents, building international talent networks, and proposing art policy and cultural strategies.
