CityUHK visited Zhuhai’s National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone for knowledge transfer & business matching

In order to strengthen the knowledge transfer and entrepreneurial opportunities of CityUHK with Mainland, a group of 7 representatives from CityUHK visited Zhuhai’s National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone on 4 July 2025 (Fri) for business matching and exchange. The group was led by Director of the Knowledge Transfer Office (KTO) Professor Goh Chin Foo, together with Professor Brian Kot, Assistant Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Public Health, and Professor Li Xinke, Research Assistant Professor of the Department of Data Science of the School of Computing. The meeting place was the Guangdong Pearl River Estuary Chinese White Dolphin National Nature Reserve Management Bureau. 
During the visit, the delegation met with representatives of the Management Bureau to discuss the conservation cooperation projects between Hong Kong and Zhuhai; at the same time, the “PRISTINZ Anti-thermal Glass” was promoted to local enterprises in Zhuhai for application in its urban construction projects; and the respiratory disease detection machine “Breathe AI” was promoted to the medical sector. In addition, Bureau Director Zhang Zhaoming and Section Chief Chen Xi introduced their work of monitoring the Chinese white dolphins in recent years.

港城大赴珠海國家高新區開展科技項目對接

為加強港城大企業在珠海國家高新區的發展機會，開展科技項目對接，我校知識轉移處吳振富處長連同傳染病及公共衛生學系助理教授葛展榮教授及計算學院數據科學系研究助理教授李欣科教授等一行 7 人在 7 月 4 日（星期五）前往珠海新區進行實體考察和會談，會議地點在廣東省珠江口中華白海豚國家級自然保護區管理局。 
在訪問期間，代表團與中華白海豚國家級自然保護區代表會面，探討港珠雙方關於保育合作專案; 同時推動「防隔熱玻璃專案」 與珠海當地企業對接，在珠海市的市建項目作場景應用; 以及推動「呼吸疾病檢測機專案」 與珠海當地企業交流對接。 另外，中華白海豚國家級自然保護區管理局張朝明局長以及陳希科長亦分別介紹中華白海豚保護區近年工作及監測情況。
