As a Learning Management System, Canvas by default contains each user's first and last names, CityUHK EID, CityUHK email address, and Student ID (for students). Additional information of students may be collected or included through the use of assessment tools and other features. Therefore, teaching staff in a course site (and administrative staff in an organization) are reminded to protect the user data. Other personal data should not be shared or uploaded to Canvas courses.
