About CityU Milk

• Contains the A2 beta-casein protein, which is more easily absorbed by the human body
• Produced by Hong Kong’s only dairy herd, i.e. Jersey cows kept in comfort and cared for by dedicated CityU veterinarians at CityU Farm
• Jersey heifers are better suited to the Hong Kong climate than, for example, large black-and-white Holsteins because they can tolerate hotter weather 

About CityU Farm

• Located in Lam Tsuen, Tai Po
• Opened in November 2022 
• Provides students in the Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine programme with essential learning opportunities in animal welfare, husbandry and farm management 
• Facilitates collaborative research into nutrition, physiology (heat stress), genetics, animal welfare and behaviour
