MA Integrated Marketing Communication (MAIMC)


Admission Requirements

Admission is decided on a competitive basis. To be eligible for admission, you must have the following qualifications:

  • a bachelor's degree from a recognized tertiary institution or an equivalent qualification in related field;
  • preferably having one or more years of work experience in a professional communication area (e.g., integrated communication, advertising, public relations, corporate and public information, marketing communication, web or multimedia production, etc)

Applicants whose entrance qualification is obtained from an institution where the medium of instruction is not English should also fulfill the following minimum English proficiency requirement:

  • TOEFL score 550 (paper-based test) or 213 (computer-based test) or 79 (internet-based test); or
  • Overall band 6.5 in International English Language Testing System (IELTS); or
  • Score 450 in the new College English Test (CET6) of Chinese mainland or a pass in the (old CET-6 test); or
  • other equivalent qualifications

The program is now open for both local and overseas applicants. Required by Hong Kong Immigration Office, all overseas students must enroll in the full-time study mode (i.e., taking 12 or more credits per semester) and obtain a student visa before coming to Hong Kong. Tuition Fees

Tuition fees are charged on a credit basis. The tuition fees for the 2019-20 academic year are HK$5,560 per credit or HK$166,800 per entire study of 30 credits.
