My research interest broadly focus on the intersection of media psychology, media effects, and emerging AI-mediated communication. Particularly, I am interested in understanding how integration of AI as a new media element-especially in the social media environment-Changes the psychological processes through which individuals perceives, interpret, evaluate, and respond to media content.
Instead of simply looking at AI as a technology tools in new era, I am interested in examining how the presence and perceived involvement of AI may introduce additional layer of cognitive processing. Through the lens of media effect and media psychology, I am interested to explore how its emergence may interact with, challenge, or extend traditional media theories. Ultimately, my goal is to understand how the emergence of AI is reshaping the relationship between media characteristic , psychological process, and audience responses.
