Cicy Tong has over twelve years of teaching experience in the local tertiary education sector in the areas of communication, public relations and digital design. She also has over ten year’s industry experience working in integrated marketing communications, events management, and brand communications in both the private and public sectors.
Raised in Canada, she obtained her BBA in Entrepreneurial Leadership and Marketing Management Diploma from Kwantlen Polytechnic University, a Management Certificate in Marketing Communications and Media Techniques from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, and Diploma in Fashion Merchandising and a Diploma in Makeup Artistry from Blanche Macdonald Institute. Soon after returning to Hong Kong, she obtained her Master of Arts in Educational Studies from the University of Western Australia.
Cicy is well-engaged with industry and academia. She is the first Adobe Campus Leader in Hong Kong as part of its Asia Pacific Adobe Education Leadership Community. She is also a full member of the Hong Kong Public Relations Professional’ Association (PRPA) and member of the Public Relations, Visual Communications, and Magazine Media Divisions of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC).
In addition to teaching and engaging with students, Cicy is a travel fanatic who appreciates new cultures and experiences.
