Versed in Meta: A Roundtable on Evidence Synthesis and Evaluation

The April 25 research seminar featured a roundtable on research evidence synthesis and evaluation. Five COM faculty members (Dr. Guanxiong Huang, Dr. Marko Skoric, Dr. Ye Sun, Dr. Xiaohui Vincent Wang, and Professor Zhu) led the discussion as panelists and shared their experiences and expertise in meta-analysis, systematic reviews, bibliometric analyses, and knowledge graph. More than 70 attendees joined the seminar. A new research team, MERIT (Meta-Evaluation and Research Integration Team), was launched and introduced. MERIT seeks to promote meta-level research on knowledge integration and evaluation for a more credible science.
