COM Welcomes New PhD students

The Department of Media and Communication held its PhD student orientation on September 8, 2021. We welcomed one of our largest ever cohorts, with thirteen new students joining our program. At the orientation, held via Zoom, the students were warmly welcomed and introduced to our faculty by Prof Yu-li Liu, Head of the Department. And then Dr. Fen Lin, Acting Research Degree Coordinator, gave an overview of the program and walked through the PhD program logistics with the new students. We wish all the success in our PhD program to Jia Hui Bi, Qinxian Cai, Dan Huang, Wei Huang, Yeonju Jang, Ruo Heng Liu, Zhi Cun Luo, Yuanyi Mao, Fei Hong Pan, Tenzin Tamang, Wenjia Yan, Cong Ma and Yuheng Wu.
