GE1223 Public Health Communication:

Covid-19 has profoundly transformed the world in ways that we had never imagined. In Hong Kong and Greater China, population density and close proximity for interpersonal contact lead to the rapid spread of diseases. Low health literacy, environmental risks, limited resources, and poor governance and intervention also pose serious health threats to public health practices. Do you care about personal health and public health? Would you like to know how health and illness are affected by communication? Would you like to learn how to communicate accurate health information to an audience through effective and timely communication? If you do, this course may be helpful!
