Public Relations in Times of Crisis by Prof Maureen TAYLOR

On November 23, 2020, COM was honored to host a research seminar with Professor Maureen Taylor from the University of Technology Sydney. In the talk titled "Public Relations in Times of Crisis", Professor Taylor introduced insightful perspectives on how public relations should be oriented to change in times of crisis in public health, politics, and communication. In particular, Professor Taylor gave a very thought-provoking talk on the roles of PR researchers in the ongoing crisis of Covid-19, including an introduction to the PR project that she is working on in collaboration with WHO. The seminar was attended by an audience of about 60 people and featured a lively Q&A session from a professional standpoint.
