Welcome to the CityU E‑Career Success Fair 2.0!

CityU Careers Festival is an institutional annual event which serves as a platform for students to deepen their understanding on employers’ expectations, gain job opportunities and keep abreast of the market trend from participating companies and their representatives. It also brings in prospective employers from the public and private sectors, NGOs and industry practitioners to introduce their industrial prospects, expectations to employees and entry qualifications. Due to Covid-19 pandemic and the successful experience of initiating the CityU “E-Career Success Fair 2020” held in September to October 2020, this year the CityU E-Career Success Fair has been continued into a half-month virtual event – “CityU E-Career Success Fair 2.0 (CSF 2.0)”, and will cover various online career preparation and development activities together with an online Job Expo!

Employer Compliments on CityU E‑Career Success Fair 2020

“I believe the CityU E-Career Success Fair is a very innovative way to prepare the students not only on the skillset, but also the mindset on career planning. Moreover, I am very impressed by CityU students of their proactiveness as they plan their career in a very early stage and their eagerness to ask questions in the Job Search Skills Sharing Session.”

Mr. Victor Ching
Director
Milestone Talent Development Centre

“It was great this year working with the Career and Leadership Centre (CLC) for CityU E-Career Success Fairs and other career events. We were able to identify suitable young talents from CityU to join KPMG. We appreciated that CLC has been engaging us for talent search and supporting CityU students and graduates’ career development; especially in times of COVID-19.”

Mr. Rocco Li
Senior Manager, Human Resources
KPMG

“It was a pleasure working with the team of Career and Leadership Centre on the CityU E-Career Success Fair 2020. Amidst the challenging time with many uncertainties, the team provided an opportunity to enable interaction, communication, and recruitment. We were able to promote our programme, and be seen by the students, and attract great candidates to join us. We look forward to future collaborations with City U and the CLC team.”

Ms. Rosemary Zhou
Group Campus Relations Manager, Group Human Resources
Jardine Matheson Limited

"It is my pleasure to collaborate with Career and Leadership Centre (CLC) during the CityU E-Career Success Fair in September and October 2020. Although the webinar was held on a virtual mode, it did not limit our fruitful interactions with the inquisitive students from different faculties. Kudos to all CLC team members who are very friendly, professional, and detail-oriented. Without their dedication and hard work, the session would not have been successful. More importantly, I truly appreciate CLC for always providing the students with great opportunities to develop their full potential for leadership and academic success, and to complement their overall educational experience."

Mr. Vincent Tam
Talent Management Lead
Human Resources & Facility Management Division
Hong Kong Productivity Council

“It has been a great pleasure to work with the CityU Career and Leadership Centre, their staff have been very professional and helpful in organising the career events. The career talk was well-organised and encouraged an interactive communication between us and CityU students. Thank you!”
