「學生輔導服務及個人發展中心」為學生提供全面有效的個人發展、心理輔導服務及精神健康教育。

 

本中心致力為修讀不同學科及文化背景的城大專上學院的學生提供輔導服務、精神健康教育及個人成長活動。透過一系列的支援及個人發展諮詢服務,以直接協助學生紓緩情緒困擾,使他們在探索個人潛能和發展適應能力的同時,能以最佳狀態應付學習中的困難。

 

此外,本計畫其中一個重點項目「朋輩輔導計劃」能讓學生通過培訓工作坊學習精神健康知識,利用朋輩相互輔導及分享經驗的方式,協助有特殊學習困難及少數族裔的學生,在學院裏推廣關顧文化,發揮互助精神。

本中心提供心理輔導,協助同學適應學院生活,應付疑難及促進個人成長和發展。每節個人面談輔導為50分鐘,所有資料絕對保密。輔導員會嚴格遵守輔導員的專業保密原則。

計劃簡介

 

“朋輩輔導計劃”目的為培訓一班CCCU的學生成為朋輩輔導員,支援他們的同輩同學的個人成長、大學生活適應及學業。 朋輩輔導員(PC)支持和輔導他們的同輩,鼓勵他們投入大學生活。 在這一年的計劃中,朋輩和朋輩輔導員保持互相支持的關係,結伴同行。

 

朋輩輔導員的目標

 

  1. 發展同輩間互助的網絡
  2. 建立正面的人生觀
  3. 共同培養互助及溝通技巧
  4. 透過同輩學習,支持不同文化背景的同學,加強互相包容的能力

 

完成培訓後的朋輩輔導員,可獲取下列資格:

 

  • 城大專上學院朋輩輔導計劃證書
  • 精神健康急救基礎課程證書 - 這個12小時課程目的是為辨識各類精神問題及精神危機的徵兆,學習精神健康急救重點,認識社區資源。本課程的參加者可得到課程手冊,修畢全期課程者將獲頒由香港心理衛生會發出之「精神健康急救」基礎課程修業證書。(此證書聯同香港心理衛生會簽發,並獲澳洲「精神健康急救國際」認可。)

 

朋輩輔導員的職責

 

  1. 朋輩輔導員為同輩的個人成長、大學生活適應、學業、人際關係等方面提供支援
  2. 為遇到困難的同輩灌輸正面的訊息
  3. 協助有需要的同輩得到適合的支援
  4. 帶領同伴獲得足夠的學校及社區資源

 

重點訓練

 

  1. 基礎輔導理論
  2. 自我認識:個性、價值觀、優點與缺點
  3. 基礎輔導技巧,例如聽力和溝通技巧

每年提供30個名額

S1064: Mental Health First Aid Course
Date: 3 - 4 June 2019

 

(English Version Only)

 

This 12-hour course is designed to equip students with knowledge and skills to help someone with an emergency mental health problem, and to learn how to stay psychologically healthy and deal with daily stress.

After attending this seminar, participants will be able to recognize and evaluate mental problems, to provide immediate mental support to prevent your peers involved from getting worse, to encourage the person involved to seek for professional help, and to provide relevant information and self-help techniques to ease the person involved. Participants of this course will receive a course manual and also a certificate issued by the Mental Health Association of Hong Kong at the completion of the course.

 

Date: 3 June 2019 (Monday) and 4 June 2019 (Tuesday)

S1062: YWCA “Be Your Life Designer” Women Empowerment Program (YWCA劃岀「妳」想同行計劃)

The program organized by YWCA, “Be Your Life Designer” will be held in May and June. Its aim is to provide women with career planning advice and assistance through a series of workshops. These courses will cover topics related to four main focuses which are “Dream Comes True”, “Personal Image”, “Goal Setting” and “Self Understanding”. Participants who have completed the captioned pre-employment trainings will be offered attendance certificate and job referral.

S1061: 學友社:放榜輔導熱線輔導員招募2019
日期: 2019年4月15日

 

第八屆新高中學生將應考香港中學文憑考試及面對放榜,不少應屆文憑試考生面對升學抉擇壓力,對前路感到迷惘。一如以往,在文憑試放榜期間,學友社會提供38條放榜熱線服務,為有需要的同學和家長提供升學資訊、情緒輔導、升學和就業意向等輔導服務。

 

學友社現招募新一屆輔導員,學生需接受社內輔導員訓練。課程由資深義工主講,內容包括輔導概論、輔導技巧、輔導實務、意向輔導、考生心理、升學資訊等。輔導員在訓練完結後將實踐所學,接聽放榜輔導熱線,從訓練和服務過程中達至助人自助,貢獻社會。

 

1. 訓練課程 :

訓練日期 : 2019年5月19日、6月2日、6月9日、6月16日 (必須全部出席)

訓練時間: 逢星期日 13:00– 18:00

 

2. 訓練營 :

S1053 Civil Aid Service – Civil Defence Leadership Programme (Tertiary Students)

The Civil Aid Service (CAS) was established in 1952. It is a volunteer auxiliary service under the Security Bureau. Their mission is “to provide emergency relief to the needy and to serve the community”. They offer support to the government regular emergency forces in the event of natural disasters and other emergencies such as typhoon, flooding and hill fire. They also assist in combating oil spills, major crowd management operations, mountaineering accidents and massive outbreak, and provide training to the youth. They now invite all tertiary students who are interested in social services and equipping themselves for becoming professionals in the field of public service and discipline to join their team.

S1044 Counselling Skills in a Non-Counselling Setting (For Staff)

In the previous session, Ms. Christy Leung shared methods of dealing with emotionally stressed students, and how to help students in emotional difficulties. This time, we will move on to “Counselling Skills in a Non-Counselling Setting”.

 

The Student Centre has invited a professional Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Nelson Kong, to give a talk on 15 March 2019. He will discuss the common mental disorders and corresponding risk factors in Hong Kong, basic concepts of assessment, risk assessment and intervention, difference between emotional support inside and outside a counselling setting, rapport building, and active listening. You will also learn basic counselling skills and appropriate approaches to help students in need.

S1043 Knowing Your Personality Type: MBTI Workshop (For Students)

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI) is a widely used instrument for understanding personality differences. It is based on Swiss psychiatrist C.G. Jung’s work on psychological types. Having an understanding of your own and others’ psychological types can help you maximize your strengths, achieve balance and interact with others effectively. Each participant will be invited to take the MBTI questionnaire prior to the workshop. This 3-hour workshop will give an overview of basic individual type preferences, explore and identify careers that align with respective personality types and introduce communication and peer counselling skills with the use of MBTI theories.

S1042 Dealing with Students with Emotional Issues and Needs (認識及處理青少年特別性格與情緒需要) (For Staff)

Young people often experience various kinds of emotional issues in society nowadays. They may be silently suffering from pressures from their peers, families, schools or even their own selves. They may feel frustrations, depression or helplessness brought about by negative emotions. Occasionally, some teachers also reveal difficulties in handling individual cases.

 

In view of the situation, the Student Centre has invited Ms. Christy Leung, an experienced social worker, to give a seminar to talk about methods of dealing with emotionally stressed students. She will teach effective skills for helping students in emotional difficulties.

To achieve wellness, we will have to understand our needs and listen to our inner voice. In this workshop series, you will experience a peaceful time to relax your mind, and to enhance your wellbeing in a wholistic way with the application of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Mindfulness. The Federation for Self-financing Tertiary Education (FSTE) is now inviting post-secondary students to join their “Joint–Institution Scavenger Hunt Challenge"" on 22 February 2019 (Friday). It is a team-building event for local and non-local/non-Chinese speaking students, aiming to encourage social inclusion and practicing Chinese language.

In this workshop, a fragrance specialist from Artisenses will reveal a part of the French culture and improve our taste of life through perfume. S1035 Mental Health First Aid Course (For Students)
Date: 7 & 11 January 2019

 

(English Version Only)

 

This 12-hour course is designed to equip students with knowledge and skills to help someone with an emergency mental health problem, and to learn how to stay psychologically healthy and deal with daily stress.

After attending the course, participants will be able to recognize and evaluate mental problems, to provide immediate mental support to prevent your peers involved from getting worse, to encourage the person involved to seek for professional help, and to provide relevant information and self-help techniques to ease the person involved. Participants who complete this course will receive a course manual and also a certificate issued by the Mental Health Association of Hong Kong.

When our friends are feeling blue, the best gift we could offer is our true presence with sufficient calmness and solidity. When we are truly present, we could listen deeply to the other person and understand his/her feelings, difficulties, struggles and needs. As a counsellor, we often ask these two questions: “How to listen so the other person could feel free to express?”; “How to speak so the other person could feel being understood?”.

In this training session, you will learn how to strengthen your ability in listening and helping others by integrating the art of mindful communication and clinical psychology. Mindfulness practices and role-play exercises would be conducted to help participants to learn through experience.

S1027 Civil Aid Service – Civil Defence Leadership Programme (Tertiary Students)

The Civil Aid Service (CAS) was established in 1952. It is a volunteer auxiliary service under the Security Bureau. Their mission is “to provide emergency relief to the needy and to serve the community”. They offer support to the government regular emergency forces in the event of natural disasters and other emergencies such as typhoon, flooding and hill fire, assist in combating oil spills, major crowd management operations, mountaineering accidents and massive outbreak, and provide training to youth. They now invite all tertiary students who are interested in social services and equipping themselves for becoming professionals in the field of public service and discipline to join their team.

Introduction of the Programme

 

The “Peer Counselling Programme” is a programme to train up a group of UOWCHK/CCCU students to support their peers. The Peer Counsellors (PCs) support and counsel their service targets and encourage them to engage in College life. In this one-year programme, PCs become the friends and mentors of their peers and maintain close relationships with them.

 

Quota

 

The programme recruits 30 volunteers each year.

 

Selection Criteria

 

We are recruiting students who are:

  • Current full-time UOW/CCCU Associate Degree students
  • Proactive and are willing to help different types of people
  • Responsible, committed and interested in developing personal potential and strengths

The Civil Aid Service (CAS) was established in 1952. It is a volunteer auxiliary service under the Security Bureau. Their mission is “to provide emergency relief to the needy and to serve the community”. They offer support to the government regular emergency forces in the event of natural disasters and other emergencies such as typhoon, flooding and hill fire, assist in combating oil spills, major crowd management operations, mountaineering accidents and massive outbreak, and provide training to youth. They now invite all tertiary students who are interested in social services and equipping themselves for becoming professionals in the field of public service and discipline to join their team.

有特殊教育需要或殘疾的城大專上學院學生可享用九龍塘校舍內的支援設施,包括圖書館、洗手間、演講廳、課室和學生飯堂等。校園內之升降機也安裝了一組位置較低的按鈕,並設有點字顯示和音頻提示器,以方便殘障人士使用。如有需要,學生可聯絡隸屬學部的學生事務統籌主任或課程主任以便被轉介到合適的專業機構享用個人輔導服務。此外,只要提供相關的證明文件,學院可為有特殊教育需要的學生作特別考試安排(如延長考試時間,安排獨立考試房間等)。

申請就讀專上課程有特殊教育需要及經濟需要學生的學習開支助學金2018/19

 

副學士及銜接學位課程學生

 

如你同時符合以下兩個條件,你便可申請資助:

  1. 符合「資助專上課程學生資助計劃」或「專上學生資助計劃」申請資格的學生,及通過入息及資產審查;

  2. 已獲專業評估確認有至少一項的特殊教育需要,包括特殊學習困難、智障、自閉症、專注力不足/過度活躍症、肢體傷殘、視覺障礙、聽力障礙及言語障礙及精神病患;
