Course Aims
This course aims to
  1. develop students’ knowledge of the film cultures and film industries of East Asia; 
  2. examine cross-cultural issues relating to filmmaking in the context of East Asia;
  3. explore the cultural meanings of representative works of East Asian cinema
  4. enhance students’ cultural literacy in a transnational context
