Mr Lester Garson Huang has served as CityU’s Council Chairman since 2018. Thanks to his dedicated support, the University has set up new facilities and launched strategically important education and research projects that can further establish its position as a world-class institution. He is proud of the outstanding achievements attained by CityU. “I am very impressed by the determination and perseverance of CityU. The University helps students unleash their potential and it creates knowledge through technology research for social and economic advancement.”
Mr Huang has full confidence in the University’s future development. “CityU has laid out a comprehensive roadmap to guide its development for the next 25 years. I believe that CityU will maintain its dynamic trajectory as a leading global university and that it will continue to have a positive impact on the world and reach new heights,” he said delightedly.
To support the future strategic development, CityU launched the first-ever comprehensive fundraising campaign “United, We Soar.” “The campaign demonstrates CityU’s determination to develop a better future. We look forward to the concerted efforts of the University and its friends and supporters, which will be a powerful force driving CityU to pursue further excellence in education and research. With your support, we shall be able to overcome challenges ahead, get ready to achieve new milestones, and unleash new possibilities,” Mr Huang called for the public’s support.
With the wide recognition and participation of the community, he firmly believed that CityU will be able to raise sufficient fund for further enhancement of its education and research endeavours. “The whole University team is highly professional and passionate.
