Since my encounter and engagement with CityU, I have been deeply impressed by its emphasis on creativity and innovation. Supporting the University’s education has been my major priority. The support of so many people and organisations towards the “United, We Soar” Campaign has been encouraging. I am pleased to see that more people have joined the big family of CityU. The Campaign’s conclusion does not only symbolise the end of a significant milestone journey but also the beginning of another. With a well-planned roadmap for future development, CityU is well-positioned to excel and contribute more to society.
Throughout the past 20 years, I have worked closely with CityU. Seeing CityU steadily advancing its position in world university rankings and winning wide recognition, I am deeply gratified and proud.
The goal we set for the “United, We Soar” Campaign was ambitious. Despite the tough challenges along the way, particularly under the COVID-19 pandemic, we exceeded our expectations and went beyond boundaries. The Campaign has significantly enriched the University’s education and research resources. We are grateful for the tremendous support the Campaign has received from the many donors who shared a passion in education with CityU.

I am glad to have partnered with CityU by supporting its social and innovative development projects to help youngsters explore their potential, promote social advancement and create a better tomorrow.
I am delighted that the “United, We Soar” Campaign has successfully attracted valuable resources, to enable CityU to take better care of its students’ personal growth and educational needs. Reaching the fundraising goal was a herculean effort by everyone who has supported the Campaign. Please allow me to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all devoted supporters, friends, and the University Community for their contributions.
Looking back on the years walking with CityU, it is my honour to be part of the University and take part in its advancement. It is meaningful and gratifying to support CityU’s students and outstanding scholars, and contribute to their success.
The funds solicited by the “United, We Soar” Campaign have provided significant resources for students and campus facilities I was honoured to serve as a Co-Chair of the Steering Committee and work with a group of enthusiastic friends. Thanks to the professional knowledge and connections of the supporters, the Campaign has reached to an extraordinary success on multiple levels.
