A research team co-led by CityU have successfully developed a novel Vacuum Ultra-Violet (VUV) meta-lens which can generate and focus the VUV light, a disruptive technology for the VUV optics market.

Leading scientists will exchange innovative views on contemporary trends in the chemistry of 2D materials at a three-day online conference co-organised by CityU and Nature Conferences, the preeminent series curated by the highly prestigious science journal Nature and Nature journals.

Researchers at CityU received tremendous accolades at Inventions Geneva Evaluation Days (IGED) 2022 by winning a total of 22 awards, the highest number among local institutions for two years in a row.

The inaugural University Day (U-Day) 2022 held at CityU on 18 March, introduced a new University Mascot, a fresh version of the University Anthem, and a series of celebratory activities.

CityU will officially launch the series "Beyond Boundaries: Dialogue with Presidents of World’s Leading Educational Institutions”, hosted by President Way Kuo. This series is one of the highlights of CityU's celebration of University Day.
