Maximum Workload

  1. During regular terms, students may be appointed to work up to a maximum of 17 hours per week including all concurrent job assignments.The weekly limit is counted on 7-calendar day basis from Sunday to Saturday.
  2. During summer term, students may be allowed to work up to a maximum of 44 hours per week for a period of not more than 2.5 months during 1st June – 15th August inclusive (Including all concurrent job assignments).The weekly limit is counted on 7-calendar day basis from Sunday to Saturday.
  3. Students can take on more than one job assignment at the same time; however, the maximum number of concurrent job assignments that a student can hold in any period within CityU should not exceed three (CIS and Student Helper Scheme inclusive).
  4. The CIS work should normally comprise at least 150 hours of service.
