Mr Iu Ting Kwok Prize for LLB and PCLL Students Certificate Presentation Ceremony

Enthusiastic law alumnus Mr Iu Ting-kwok, MH, is dedicated to promoting Mediation in legal education. With his generous donation, a scholarship scheme of “Mr Iu Ting Kwok Prize for LLB and PCLL Students” has been established in CityU since 2012. This year, the Prize Presentation Ceremony, organised by the Alumni Relations Office and officiated by Mr Iu and Dr Ron Kwok, Director of the Alumni Relations Office, was held on 28 October.

At the ceremony, five elite students from the School of Law received the certificate from Mr Iu in recognition of their outstanding performance in Mediation in the academic year of 2021/22. Over the past ten years, the Prize has been granted to 39 outstanding students from the School of Law.

Dr Ron Kwok extended his thanks to Mr Iu for his contributions to CityU and his dedication to promoting the development of Mediation. Dr Kwok also encouraged the Prize recipients to follow in the footsteps of Mr Iu - to work hard on their studies, excel in their careers and give back to their Alma Mater and society.
