How will the 6th generation (6G) transform our lives, and what will it look like?
A research team led by Professor Chan Chi-hou, Acting Provost and Chair Professor of Electronic Engineering in the Department of Electrical Engineering, also Director of the State Key Laboratory of Terahertz and Millimeter Waves (SKLTMW) at CityU, has developed a new-generation antenna “sideband-free space-time-coding metasurface antenna”. It allows manipulation of the direction, frequency and amplitude of the radiated beam and is expected to play an important role in the integration of sensing and communications for 6G wireless communications.
The SKLTMW will organise a guided tour of the lab, especially for CityU alumni and their families, to learn more about the novel antenna technology and to experience these cutting-edge devices and equipment in person. Seize this golden opportunity and register now!
