Fifteen local student hosts under the Cultural Walker Programme organised cultural tours to Aberdeen and Ap Lei Chau in two days for non-local students. The tours attracted twenty-six non-local students from various regions, including Mainland China, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, Russia, Nigeria, India, and Pakistan.
Apart from sharing the local history and culture with international students, they enjoyed the picturesque sea view on the boat and explored the community together. Students from different backgrounds had broadened their horizons through cultural interaction in the course of tours, which bridged the gap between local and non-local students.
The tours were successfully organised in compliance with the social distancing arrangement, in which a special grouping with four people or less had been assigned.
