The fifteenth Dialogue Series with Consuls General was held on 16 March 2022. Mr. Thomas GNOCCHI, Head of the European Union Office to Hong Kong and Macao, talked with over 150 CityU students and staff on the topic of “Opportunities in European Union for Future Studies and Career Development” via Zoom. Professor Raymond CHAN, Vice-President (Student Affairs), delivered a welcoming speech at the beginning of the seminar.

Ambassador GNOCCHI discussed various reasons for choosing European Union (EU) as a destination for future studies and career development, and especially shared the Erasmus+ Programme that the EU offers. The audience enjoyed his introduction very much and raised numerous questions about culture and career opportunities in the EU.

The Dialogue Series with Consuls General continues to enrich students’ global consciousness and cross-cultural understanding.
