CityU Elites Receive Scholarships and Awards From HKSAR Government in 2018-19


 

Congratulation to CityU students who have received the prestigious Scholarships/Awards offered by HKSAR Government Scholarship Fund in 2018-19 academic year.

Approximately HK$146 million of scholarships under the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government Scholarship Fund and the Self-financing Post-secondary Education Fund were awarded to 6,700 students in Hong Kong in 2018-19. Certificates were presented to awardees on the award presentation ceremony on 30 April 2019. A total of 536 CityU awardees were honoured with the scholarships or awards, including:

  • 115 students receiving the Scholarship on Outstanding Performance (SOP)
  • 10 students receiving the Endeavour Merit Award (for students with Special Educational Needs)
  • 16 students receiving Belt & Road Scholarships (for international students from Belt & Road countries) / Targeted Scholarships (for ASEAN students)
  • 395 students for Talent Development Scholarships & Reaching Out Awards
