Course Aims

This course aims to provide students with a broad understanding of disaster and crisis management functions and systems in complex engineering environment, with emphasis on knowledge and tools of risk assessment that could help decision makers set priorities to deal with crises and emergencies effectively which could minimize human and financial losses. Students will be equipped with the ability to apply the knowhow of disaster and crisis management in their future work.
