Course Aims

The aims of the course are to provide students with an overview of various human factors issues and problems in product design, and to develop an understanding of related human factors principles fundamental to the analysis of human product interface factors for capturing and sustaining consumer demand in a competitive market place. Students will be able to identify the critical human factors essentials in a product design process, and apply the related principles to design a user-centred product design of high usability.
