Course Aims

1. Abstract
 

More and more companies conduct business over the Internet. This requires professionals to manage projects across different regions and countries. Through acquiring the good practices in global project management, project managers are more likely to deliver projects on time and within budget. This course follows the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) from Project Management Institute (PMI) and covers all the knowledge areas expected from a project manager who needs to manage a global project.

This course aims to introduce the basic concepts, knowledge, tools and techniques of project management. It focuses on global projects with modern information systems. Upon completion of the course, students are expected to be able to plan and manage projects in a globalized business environment.
