The course aims to develop students’ understanding of the key elements in human nutrition and their impact on health and lives. It provides them with a better understanding of the relationship between nutrients and health. Students will be able to understand causes of food-borne illnesses and diet management. Global issues like food shortages and genetically modified food will also be covered and discussed.
