Course Aims

The significance of this course is to develop students’ information literacy and effective techniques in learning and working environments in their daily life.

This course aims to provide students with a comprehensive overview of information technologies based on four aspects: to inspire the use of information and communication technologies in their self-directed learning; to encourage critical analysis and management of the information available on the Internet; to produce creative and well-organized context with multimedia in their studies and workplaces and to instil a sense of social awareness and behave responsibility in the rapid changing information age.

This course is foundational in nature which enables students to utilize the information technologies effectively and integrate the skills across disciplines.
