This course aims to provide students with knowledge and exploration of ci 詞 poetry. Focusing on the study of selected works from the Tang through Song periods, the course will introduce students to analyse the selected works from aesthetic, social, historical and philosophical perspectives. Students are also encouraged to undertake wider reading in tutorial discussion to develop their reading skills and analysing ability.
