Aims of Major

Develop students’ analytical abilities, problem-solving skills and technical competence that are useful in managerial decision-making; provide students with an integrated curriculum combining general business foundation, and advanced management topics to prepare them for managerial positions in an global economy; enable students’ to diagnose operational and business problems, develop and implement solution for various kinds of organizations in the financial, commercial, and service sector.

  3. Apply creative and critical thinking in solving business-related problems.

  6. Demonstrate competence in applying operations management techniques and scientific problem-solving skills using specific computer software to make rational, systematic and knowledge-based business decisions and to develop feasible solutions.
  7. Analyse, interpret and critically evaluate business issues and alternatives related to data, information, analytical models and/or operations management.
