Course Aims

This course aims to provide students a comprehensive introduction to health maintenance and wellness technology by laying out the foundations of the field of health maintenance and wellness technology, and introducing the recent advances in the field. At the end of the course, the students will not only be able to obtain the basic knowledge on the field, but also understand in the recent development.

This course is organized to enable students to understand this interdisciplinary subject with minimal background. Its major components include information technology for health maintenance, technologies for point care, wellness technology, and their engineering and community implementation.
