Course Aims

This course explores the organisation and role of key international institutions for global governance and regional coordination, and particularly those that are concerned with the global economy and Asia’s place within it. It promotes critical reflection on the relationship between citizens, states and international organisations in the context of global social and economic change, and seeks to develop research- and discovery-related skills in relation to the contemporary global and regional economy and its implications for citizens of Hong Kong and the world.
