Course Aims

The aims of this course are to develop:
  • an understanding of basic principles, techniques and issues underlying geometric design, digital geometry processing, and the latest virtual prototyping and e-manufacturing solutions in design and manufacturing; and 
  • a practical awareness of skills required to use virtual prototyping and e-manufacturing solutions to analyse various design and manufacturing activities.
