Course Aims

This course aims at giving students a general knowledge of the contemporary Japanese society.  Through an introduction of various aspects of the Japanese society such as history, philosophy, religion, performing arts, language, family and marriage, life styles and festivals, management, political system and popular culture etc., students will be able to understand the society better.
