Dr. Jiying Wang currently is an Instructor in the Department of Computer Science at City University of Hong Kong. She received a B.S. degree in the Department of Computer Science, Peking University in 1999. At the same time, she also received a B.A. degree in the China Center for Economic Research of Perking University. She received her Ph.D. degree in the Department of Computer Science, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2004.
Dr. Wang's research interests include Web Information Extraction, Hidden Web Search, Data Integration, as well as Data Mining. She has published papers in prestigious journals (e.g., TODS, TKDE) and top conferences (e.g., VLDB, WWW). Her current teaching subjects include Chinese Computing, Database, Internet Programming, C Programming, and Foundation Computer Science.
