Junhui Hou holds a B.Eng. degree in information engineering (Talented Students Program) from the South China University of Technology (SCUT), Guangzhou, China (2009), an M.Eng. degree in signal and information processing from Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU), Xi’an, China (2012), and a Ph.D. degree from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore (2016). He joined the Department of Computer Science at CityU as an Assistant Professor in 2017 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2023. Dr. Hou's research interests include visual computing, e.g., image/video/3D geometry processing, analysis, and communication, graph structure learning, etc. Dr. Hou is a senior member of IEEE.
